Bio

I am currently a PhD candidate under Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF) scheme at the National Institute of Technology - Tiruchirappalli, advised by Prof. P.Sivashanmugam. My research is centred around Bioenergy and Bioremediation, addressing Wastewater treatment, Biorefinery, Bioprospecting, and Bioinformatics. This research is aimed towards an innate bioremediation process for acid-hydrolyzed protein waste outpour of food industries.

Previously, I was an assistant professor at Kamaraj College of Engineering in the Madurai district. I obtained my M.Tech degree in Biotechnology from Kamaraj College of Engineering at Madurai District, affiliated to Anna University Chennai. My research during my PG degree also focused on Bioenergy production. And I graduated as a B.Tech- Biotechnology graduate from Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology, Kancheepuram District, affiliated with Anna University Chennai. My UG final year project was focused on industrial wastewater treatment.
